Thrilled to have taken part in this year's Society of Women Annual Exhibition, my painting along with many other talented ladies was up for a week in the Mall Galleries London. Portrait of the infallible Michael, a great friend and storyteller. Thought I'd try something new, experimenting with oil pastel and oil paint together. The contemporary painter Andrew Salgado heavily inspired me. Here is my first attempt are drawing the background in the same solidity as the portrait.
